No grow bird food

Feeding your Robins with no grow bird food!

Even during Winter months we can see significant growth of unwanted plants and weeds under our bird feeding station and even though we do supply "no mess" bird food, this doesn't mean it won't grow. It is a referral to the quality of the seeds in the mix that most will be cleared up by the birds and thus it won't leave a mess. The No Mess mixes you see do contain small seeds like Dari and it is impossible to remove the husks, so they can grow if not eaten and as we don't use any chemicals to prevent sprouting (watch lout for that in other no mess mixes) this does result in some growth if the birds are over fed.

There is an answer! No Grow Bird Food - as it suggests these mixes are specially blended to ensure there are no seeds in there that can grow, the only natural way to do this is to de-Husk and granulate, this is an expensive way to prevent germination, but 100% effective without the use of chemicals.

At British Bird Food we have several no grow mixes, the first is our own exclusive "Premium no grow mix" containing Sunflower Hearts, granulated peanuts and suet pellets, a very high energy mix for use throughout the year. The next mix is the "Robin and Tit" mix, this contains granulated peanuts, sunflower heart chips, mealworms and pinhead oat meal. Another example is the "Supreme mix" Sunflower Hearts, fruit and suet pellets, a great mix for the songbirds. Then there is the "Ultimate Mix" Just about all the good things birds like in one go, Mealworms, Suet pellets and fruit - All of these mixes are totally natural and contain the right amount of balanced nutrition for a wide variety of birds.
